Continue in Patience

Hey guys, how are you? Nearly a week without posting, here were I am to bring for you another lesson from the Presidents of the church, no just more one lesson or message, but a great video that shows how we have to continue with patience about all thing in our lives, 'til even with the minimal details. Patience requires that we obey God's commandments and faithfully wait for His will to be fulfilled.

From the pen of Paul, we take this challenge:

“O man of God, … follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life.” (1 Tim. 6:11–12.)

So wrote our fellow apostle to those who had accepted the Son of God as their Savior, who had taken upon themselves the yoke of Christ, who had covenanted in the waters of baptism to serve him and keep his commandments. And so say we to all those today who have in like manner taken upon themselves the name of Christ and enlisted in the cause of truth and righteousness: Be valiant. Fight a good fight. Stand true. Keep the commandments. Overcome the world.

A Word at Closing - By Thomas S. Monson

The lighthouse of the Lord sends forth signals readily recognized and never failing.

This has been a wonderful closing session. I’ve seldom heard such fine sermons taught in so few words as we’ve experienced today. We’re all here because we love the Lord. We want to serve Him. Our Heavenly Father is mindful of us. Of that I testify. I acknowledge His hand in all things.

Overcome the "Natural Man"

King Benjamin taught to his people: "For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father". (see Mosiah 3:19).

He explained that this man will keep in this condiction "unless he yields to the influence of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive , meek, humble, patient, loving, willing to submit themselves to whatever the Lord think you should inflict, as a child doth submit to his father. "

Elder Orson Pratt,
who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, taught: "The more people become righteous, are most qualified to love others and bring you happiness. A wicked man is not capable of nurturing great love for his wife. " (The Seer [1853-1854]

Earth Day!

Hello my dear! What is up? With me, is everything ok! To tell the truth today is great, after all is the Worldwide Day of Earth! (#EarthDay).

The MormonMissionary - A Site for the Mormons Missionaries are happy to know that there is hope, there is faith and know that our Heavenly Father created this world we lived in it for us. But, sometimes we see in newspapers horrible news about hunger, deforestation, global warm by the emissions of gases in the atmosphere. Would this is true? I don't know, but we can do "diference if we care enough for the living" as said in the music. Is this that we've to do. Make Peace in this world!

[Event] The Book of Mormon/YouTube Challenge

It is an invitation to all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and no members too created by Erin Jakob on Facebook. I have been invited by my friend Eric Wadron. I've confirmed my presence, why you no longer do it?

In the moment there are already 17,732 confirmed at the event and each day it will grow up, because in the of my confirmation it had more than 9 millions and now to most of 16 millions it's a great diference! Make part of this...!

But, how can I do part of this thing that I don't know what is this? Or how to join?

I'll put only one piece of description how has in the page of event, that said:

The Restoration Of Truth

God is your Father in Heaven. He knows you personally. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and your Savior. His life and teachings are the way to peace and happiness.

God knows you personally and loves you more than you can comprehend. He wants you to be happy now and always. To accomplish this purpose, Heavenly Father has provided a plan called the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God; His teachings are the way to peace in life and joy for eternity.

As part of His plan, God has followed a simple pattern from the beginning of the world. He chooses a prophet (like Noah or Moses) to teach the gospel and lead the people. Sadly, most of God’s children have disregarded, disobeyed, and rejected His prophets.

As promised, Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life. He established His Church, taught His gospel, and performed many miracles. Incredibly, even Jesus Christ was rejected. Following His death, many people began to drift away from or distort Christ’s true teachings. As a result, God withdrew His authority to direct the Church that Christ had established.

Our loving Father in Heaven is the “same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (see Hebrews 13:8). As in ancient times, He has followed His simple pattern in our day. He has again established the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth through a prophet. This prophet whom the Lord called to restore God’s truth is named Joseph Smith. The evidence of this Restoration is found in the Book of Mormon, which you can read, ponder, and pray about.

God continues to speak His words and reveal His truth in our day through a living prophet. If you ask your Heavenly Father in prayer, He can confirm the truth of this to you.
